    Lemon bars (First they’re sour, then they’re sweet)

    I first published this post in 2012, but decided to update the recipe a little bit. Enjoy! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE all things lemon. You can almost always find a bag of sour patch stashed somewhere in my room because I crave sour flavors constantly! These bars have (in my opinion) the perfect amount of sour and sweet and are super easy to make.     Magic bars

    When I was in college, I loved going to this coffee shop in La Jolla called Pannikin (http://pannikincoffeeandtea.com/) They had a great little patio area, free wi-fi and these delicious little pastries that were made of graham cracker, nuts, coconut, and many types of chocolate. This is my version of that great dessert! This is a really easy recipe that doesn’t involve much measuring or accuracy. It’s a good one for a beginner.
